Bike service & repair is going mobile: this weekend, I'll be setting up a tune-up stand at Eyelevel Gallery's yard sale and fundraiser, "Kitchen Sink"! Friday March 31, 5-9pm Saturday April 1, 10am-2pm Parish Hall @ Saint George's Round Church Cornwallis & Brunswick Streets Free admission Facebook event and website I've been involved with Eyelevel Gallery since 2013—they're a fantastic artist-run centre supporting visual art in the community, and was an important outlet for my work as an artist when I first graduated from NSCAD University. Their annual fundraisers are always a blast, and this year I'm honoured to be going back to donate to the event as a contributing business. Besides giving visitors' bikes a complimentary once-over (by donation, proceeds going to Eyelevel Gallery), I'm adding 3 free tune-up vouchers to their raffle, which also includes prizes from other local shops including Woozles Children's Bookstore, Inkwell Boutique and North Mountain Pie Company. This, plus second-hand treasures, a lemonade stand, and more... I hope to see you there! Have an upcoming community event? Please get in touch—I'm always up for coming out! Having participated in events like a "Tea Party and Tune Ups" as part of 100-in-1 Day, I love putting out a repair stand as a way to meet other folks on bikes and spread a little bicycle safety.
